How it works #

Google only stores your encrypted vault in a hidden folder for Passyble. It can't read it: your master password stays the key. Your devices signed in to the same Google account stay in sync, and if two of them change the vault at once, Passyble merges the changes.

Turn it on on your PC #

  1. Settings → Sync → Back up to Google Drive → Back up….
  2. Finish signing in with Google in your browser. Passyble continues when you're done and shows Backed up.

Creating a new vault? Sign in with Google and create does both at once.

Restore on another device #

  1. On another PC's welcome screen, choose Restore from Google Drive. On a phone, the same option is on the welcome screen (on phones with Google Play services).
  2. Sign in with Google with the same account.
  3. Choose the vault to restore and unlock it with its master password.

Turn it off #

  1. Settings → Sync → Google Drive → Turn off backup.
  2. Tick Also delete the copy on Google Drive to remove it for good. Other devices then can't restore it from Google Drive any more.

To remove Passyble's access to your Google account, open your Google Account, Security, "Your connections to third-party apps and services", and remove Passyble.
